Grammy and Grand-dad's Visit (The Musgrave's Take France...)

My parents came for a visit via Paris and a train last week. It had been a year since we had seen them last so everyone was very excited. We didn't have the best weather for their visit but we made the best of it. We took trips to Vichy, Montpeyroux, Gergovie, Parc Monjuzet, and lots of bakeries and playgrounds around Clermont. They also got to see what everyday life is like for us here in France such as grocery shopping and our fruit and vegetable store down the street.

We really enjoyed their visit!

The kids SUPER excited to see Grammy.

 Jet lag...

Vichy has a carousel! Ruthie was so excited to ride on the pig.

They were celebrating something in Vichy the Sunday we visited. There was a parade, dancing and super creepy masks!!

Horse and carriage. The kids were so excited!

Creepy masks exhibit A, B and...

 C!

A view of the beautiful city of Montpeyroux from the car view. It was pouring down rain so we took a car tour.

On the way back home we drove up to Gergovie. This is were the Gauls (French) beat the Romans (won the battle not the war).

 Beautiful tulips at Parc Monjuzet.

Playing at the park with Grand-dad.

 Lily. As herself.

Bye Grammy and Grand-dad! We had a wonderful time showing you Clermont!
